What are Facilicreators?
Facilicreators are educators with a difference. Think of us like a combination of life coaches and teachers that facilitate creative learning. Facilicreators want learning to feel easy, memorable and be a positive experience. As a result, we know that questioning and playing are just as important as the discoveries they lead to. After all, isn't curiosity the best way to ignite a desire to learn? As well as focusing on knowledge, comprehension and analysis, Facilicreators see the learner as a whole person and therefore are also concerned about their overall wellbeing. Consequently, they guide the learner instead of pressuring them, and through the process, establish higher level thinking that sticks the first time. At Love of Learning we want all educators to be Facilicreators one day, which is why we offer CPD in 'Fostering Creativity in the Classroom' for schools and colleges.
